Abstract

A Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of nodes which are connected by wireless links. MANET is a self configuring network in which nodes are free to move. This paper used two ADHOC routing protocols and comparison between these AODV and DSDV protocols. The Gateway had been selected for communicated with source node and destination node. The TCP Reno modified protocol of TCP in wireless networks configured on both ends for providing end to end (E2E) connectivity. The Interface Queue Occupancy Algorithm and Gateway Selection Algorithm had been used for selecting a particular gateway and run under the Network simulator (NS2). The TCP performance has been calculating by various scripts namely Perl and Python scripts. This Paper presents the results of throughput of both AODV and DSDV protocols and shows that AODV performs well over DSDV protocol. The simulation performed over 802.11 networks and works on IPv4 as well as IPv6 protocol.

Abstract

In this paper, we use different types of polarization schemes to measure polarization mode dispersion in WDM system and analyse the BER, Q factor and Eye diagram of various channels. We investigate that if polarization angle can be controlled with the help of polarization controller at ellipticity=+45/-450, azimuth= 00 corresponding to right hand/left hand circular polarization then the overall results shows improvement of Q-factor and BER in case of odd and even channels of the system. The polarization mode dispersion in this mode is also lower than other polarization modes.
